Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is completely natural and safe, there are no harmful side effects. When administered by a professionally trained and skilled Hypnotherapist the benefits are long lasting and often permanent.

Hypnotherapy means using hypnosis as an aid to relieve a variety of physical and psychological symptoms.

Hypnosis is a two-way process between the therapist and the client. The therapist talks in a way that allows the client to enter a different level of consciousness which facilitates relaxation. The client is not asleep, nor in the process of going to sleep. The hypnotic state has been likened to a daydream, where your mind temporarily drifts from one thing to another, whilst maintaining an awake state. There are many ways of achieving trance, which is a term used by Hypnotherapists to indicate the shift in awareness.

Modern Hypnotherapists use hypnosis not only as an intervention for medical purposes but also as an aid to the resolution of many problems of psychological origins.

It is estimated that approximately 85% of people of all age groups and backgrounds will readily respond to Clinical Hypnotherapy. It is often successful when other, more conventional methods of treatment have failed.

However, it should be noted that Hypnosis does not claim to cure. Medical conditions should always be discussed with your doctor. If you are seeking hypnosis for a medical condition, then your doctor’s approval would need to be sought.
